I setup CE 9.0 on a server, it has a local MSDE database. I created report to connect to a SQL server which runs from my machine, which is in a different domain then the SQL server.

Then when i try to run the report from the CE server it prompts for the Username and password even thou they are right. And the CE server and SQL are on the same domain.

The Server have 2 network cars (is this a problem?) I can connect to the server via a ODBC query but not within the report itsself.

Can you make it use pipes ot IP ??

Cheers

Does the CE server have the ODBC connection set up on it?

It sounds liek you set it up for design, but didn't set up the connection on the CE server.

It is most likely that you do not have an ODBC connection set up on the machine. Even if the database is on the same server as CE it will not work without an ODBC connection. You get the problem with it repeatedly prompting for database userir and password. It took me two days on the phone with CD to fix this. This is a new feature in CE 9.0. You did not need the ODC connection when running CE 8.5.
