What are the support files that i need to include when i deploy an application which uses Crystal Reports control to display its reports? Is there a specific order in which these files need to be installed?

Thanks for responding.

The faulty interface lies between the poster and the responder, without at least knowing the type and version of the software used, this is impossible to know.

Try posting technical information:

Crystal edition and version
Database/connectivity used
Development language

You can find this type of information at the BO site:

Sorry and thanks for waking me up.

I am trying to get information on an old VB Project which used Crystal 7. I have Crystal 9 with me, but since the project used the Crystal Reports OCX to display its Reports, and since Seagate has dropped it from recent versions, i need a strategy by which I can install Crystal Reports 7 without messing up my Crystal 9 installation.

I am trying to figure out all the related dlls and ocxs that the Crystal Reports control needs, so that I can get rid of the "Registration not succeeded" message boxes which pops up when I manually register it.

Thanks Vidru,

I guess I am on my way.
