crystal configuration

I am looking if this scenario works with crystal. I have configured my CE9 on windows 2000 pro edition and having my Application on another machine which is windows 2003 server. But this is flexible i can change this to win 2000 also if above does not work.
My question is does this work , having Enterprise on one machine and calling it from another web server where my app is.

Any ideas ...

It can work in this format, although there will be some configuration changes.

HI,
as long as you can authenticate the users to the correct APS and can call the correct viewer, the application can be on any web server ( it will be easier if the Web Connector is set up on that server so you need not code as much explicit location info, but, it can be done without even that being on the application server).
