Crystal APS service is not starting

Hi everyone,

I was trying to run some reports off the web application today and got the following error:

Communication Error
Communication failed with all configured Web Component Servers because they are disabled or not currently running. If this problem continues, please contact the system administrator.

I went and looked at the services and see that the Crystal APS is stopped. I tried starting it and got the following message:

The Crystal APS service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service.

I can't seem to get it to start. The only new thing I did today on my machine was reinstall SQL Server 2000. Can someone please assist me.

Please post your software version.

CE uses SQL Server as it's database engine, so you may have overwritten it or disallowed the account that logs into it.
