Try using Insert - OLE Object and you should see Excel as an option - so yes.

What I am trying to do is this. I have an excel sheet in the server and I can embed it into Crystal Reports.Now the Excel sheets is updated from some other sources. The Excel OLE object in Crystal Reports is not getting updated...
Is there anything I can do so that the Excel Sheets are also updated when I refresh the report ? I am using
Crystal Reports 8.5 and Microsoft Excel 2002.
If you use "Create from File" and check off "Link" you should get an updated spreadsheet each time you open the report.
