We are running Crystal Reports of our CRM package that has a foxPro db engine. We have an ODBC to the dbc file. A report off a 10,000+ record db takes a good 1.5 to 2 minutes??!?!? Is this right? Is there another way?

Thanks,
Fred

There are a lot of factors involved. does your report have multiple tables and what sort of joins if any? Are you running subreports? do you have a sufficient machine to run Crystal on? under options do you have use indexes or server for speed checked? are you grouping on formulas? The list goes on.. Reports can take anywhere from a few minutes to hours to run based on what is in the report Seagate Certified RCAD Specialist.
