After building formulas for several fields I would like to summeraize the formulas's result. (e.g. formula 1 = (1 + 1) formula2 = (2+2)... I am looking for 6.)

I can accomplish this by creating a new formula and pasting the other formula's into the new one... but it would be much easier if there were a way to call the 'sub' formula's directly.

Does anyone have the syntax?

Thanksin advance

Perhaps you mean that you want to include another formulas result in a new one, your post doesn't really make sense to me.

A formula containing (1+1) should just have 2, try posting real examples, or if this is a real example, try posting the following:

Crystal version
database used
connectivity used
example data
expected output

as you're going about this the hard way.

A formula adding other formulas refers to the other formulas by using:

@new formula example:
{@formula1}+{formula2}
