Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I am familiar with Crystal Reports esp earlier versions (7 through 8.5). I have an ASP/COM application and need to set up web reporting.

The client purchased Crystal Reports 9.0 and every document I try to download off seagate's website appears to be a "sales doc."

Can i implement crystal reports 9.0 web-reporting using the RDC & report viewer or is that deprecated? Any links to code samples or such would be appreciated. Which disk should I install on the server? The crystal reports 9.0 or this extra crystal enterprise. I've dealt with CE before but don't need all that - just a simple report viewer would be sufficient.

bye & thanks in advance
Jim

CR9/CE9 introduces some new web delivery components but you will need CR9 developer to get them and the documentation.

CR9 advanced includes java support and web report scheduling, while developer seems fine for report viewing.

To get the web components installed you will still need to install CE on the web server. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
