Crystal 9 - VB 6 - Memory Full Error 1

Hello Everyone,

I am encountering a very strange issue with the Crystal 9 RDC.

I am printing some reports from a VB6 client, and about 98% of the time, everything works fine. However, seemingly arbitrarily, the application bombs with the following error "-2147206398 Memory Full" when attempting to print a report.

The strange part is that It never happens twice in a row, and I have never been able to reproduce the error on my development machines. If the user simply submits the request a 2nd time, the report works fine.

This issue is definitely new to Crystal 9, because when I had the same reports going against CR 8.5 this error never occurred.

The Crystal KB is useless, as it has nothing regarding this situation. Searching for this error on CR9 produces a document about CR9.NET, and we are not using .NET here.

If anyone has encountered this issue and gotten around it, please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.
