Hi folks

I've written an XML driven Crystal Reports class to allow greater programmatic control of behaviour (runtime database-driven comboboxes, execution of parameterized sql prior to running the report, overriding selection formula) - the front end being a new prompt dialog (with a Cancel button that works!). It all works perfectly, apart from the small problem that I cannot work out how to enforce min/max values (or length, for strings) of parameters. The TCrpeParamField class exposes ValueMin and ValueMax properties, but these always seem to refer to the current value (ie both are identical!) rather than the limitations imposed in the Parameter properties dialog during design. Similarly (annoyingly), the ValueLimit property is always false.

Can anyone give me any pointers? I've checked the CR help but it is absolute rubbish (seems to refer to an earlier version as the classes are different). I can't find anything, but surely it must be there.
