crystal 8.5 thinks my DBase DBF is not valid

When I try to add a dbase DBF level 7 to my crystal 8.5 report, I try the XDBASE driver then I try to change the driver to PDBBDE, which yields an error message then I get a messages with everything I try:

idapi32.dll not found ( i have it everywere)
"pdbbtrv.dll can't be found"
"my DBF is not a known database type"
"microsoft access password"

You guys know the drill... What can I do to avoid all this?
