When I print directly from Crystal the fonts are rendered accurately, but when I export the output to PDF and then print the report the font is smaller. The report has the same number of lines per page, but it is more difficult to read.

This report is around 8000 pages, so increasing the font size is not realistic. If I could just get the PDF exported file to print like the native Crystal, I would be satisfied.

The reason for the print export is to send the output to a CD so it can be printed off site. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
I think Adobe 'tries' to match the font type and size but may not have the exact one used in your report..

Have you tried a RTF format export and have the users use Word or Wordpad to open it?
