Can crystal 8.5 display a fielda greater then 256 chars? I feel it does but am unable to test this out due to out-of-town situations.

Sorry, ment to include SQL table field of greater then 256 chars. THanks.

Yes, it can display it, but it can't be used in formulas.
The trick is to use SQL Expressions and parse it into < 254 chars for larger fields.
