I have a report that has multiple field information for one item and an amount that only need to display once. I have accomplished this by supressing duplicates in that field format, but I am getting the field more than once if the item carries over to a new page.

Item Amount Notes
1234 50.00 this is a sample
1234 of what my report
1234 looks like

New Page
1234 50.00 so don't
1234 try to change
1234 it

I do not want the 50.00 to show again just because there is a page break. I have tried the keep objects together but that does not work either.

Thanks

Several ways. The simplest is to group, show the amount in the group header and use a Running Total to suppress the detail line for its first occurence.

It is also possible to collect text from several records in a variable and show it in the group footer, if that would be useful.
