Crystal 8.5 and 9.0 on same box

I am getting ready to update all my reports from 8.5 to 9.0. Until they are all complete all the users will be using only the 8.5 reports (which may require updates). Does anyone have any experience in running both on the same machine or do I need to req another computer for this transition?

This should be fine, but be aware that if you remove v9, then the file association (.rpt) will likely get stripped.

I have had a couple of cases where v85 had to be reinstalled after 9 was removed.

Install CR8.5 first, or the RPT file association will try to Open all RPT files with CR8.5
