Crystal 7.0 error 20532 "Can not find database DLL

Have an application which uses the crpeauto object to show reports that pull from a SQL Server 2000 database. The reports are bases upon a stored procedure and the datasource is dynamically set each time the report is generated. The procedure works flawlessly on 99% of the computers that we have installed the product on. However there are a few that have caused problems. One of the computers is a Win95 and the other two are win98. The win98 pc's are clean installations with minimal "other" software. I have updated the Crystal "Database" dll's to the most current available for Crystal 7.0. Below are the files:
p2soledb.dll dated 9/1/99
p2smon.dll dated 9/29/99
cpeaut32.dll dated 11/8/99
CRPE32.DLL dated 2/23/2000

I appreciate any help. Crystal web sight is devoid of help on this error.
