Crystal 2008 running on a hosted TS, a number of clients accessing, some using reports written for them, others would prefer to write their own. Is there a way (with or without an add-in) to restrict the data areas they see to just their own? I understand that even though they can see the other clients data areas exist it would be neater if they didn't.

any ideas folks?

My client has a similar issue. They have resolved this in the database. Creating different schemas for each client with different user names and passwords.

Clients can see the other schemas when they log in but can not access data.

Do not think you can do anything in Crystal Reports 2008. If you use Crystal Enterprise to publish reports then you can use Business Views which are specific to users.
