Crystal 10 Viewer Export Hanging when given Logical Path

The following problem only affects clients on a W2K platform, WinXP has tested OK..........

An application that hosts the CR10 report viewer is running.
When exporting to the logical 'My Documents' folder via the viewer (i.e. by navigating in CR10 viewer export window to Desktop, then to 'My Documents', our app that loaded the CR10 viewer will hang (eggtimer appears then thats it !!), however if the path to the 'My Documents' is physical i.e. c:\...... , the export will work.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

Some questions:

Have you determined if this only happens on this one machine but doesn't happen on other Win2k machines? Or is it common to any Win2k box?

Are all users on that machine affected, or only one?

Does the machine in question run any form of anti-spyware, anti-adware?
