I'm curious on what has changed since version 8.5 and 9 on report deployment methods. I remember version 9 was suppose to phase out the compiled reports options. What is the status of RDC in version 10? We've been using VB and RDC version 8.5 for quite awhile. Will I still be able to create reports and then use VB to distribute them?

Crystal Decisions always said that the RDC was the "method of choice" for integrating a report with an application, so presumably it will be around for a time.
Business Objects' "What's new in CR 10" document doesn't mention any changes in that respect.
