Crystak Report in 9.0 exported to Excel

The cells holding the datetime field does not expand automatically to accomodate the values. The column width is standard for the whole sheet.

Is there a tool in Crystal 9.0 whereby when exporting a report to Excel, the columns containing the datetime field (format March 1, 1999 1:23 pm) should expand automatically to display the entire field rather than showing "######" and for me having to either manually expand the width or change the format to datetime in the Excel sheet?

If you converted the datetime in Crystal to a string before exporting to Excel, would Excel display them better?
