cryptorand: [ID 913417 daemon.crit] kvm_open: Bad file number

Any ideas about the above message, a core gets dumped on boot and this message is generated with the start-up in init.d.

Crytorand apparently saves its info to file on shut-down
I think it may not be finding the saved file? Anybody know what this file is or where it lives.

How about the switch -v any ideas, this seems to fix things - but I'm blind as to why.

Not much info out the on crptorand - so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Never heard of it, but bunging it into Google came up with several hits, including:

Could be that the file in question is written to /tmp and the latter is of course emptied by a reboot?
