Crypto card

Hi,
I'm trying to install a PKCS #11 crypto card under 5.1.
No matter which commend I run to start it up or configure it I get:

macst102 $ ./pkcsconf -t
ERROR pkcsslotd[13200.1]: Failed to read slot database.
Error communicating with slot manager: 0x2


I can find any information on a "slot database". Does anyone know about this?
