CRXI R2 Oracle Native Drivers not showing 1

the oracle native drivers, which are installed on various users machines do not see to show in crystal when we upgrade folks to R2 of crystal reports xi.
anyone else run into this?
reinstalling oracle client seems to take care of it, but I'd rather not have to do that each time.

I meant to say the drivers don't seem to show.

CRYSTAL REPORTS XI (R2) requires the Oracle 9.2 client if your older PCs have an older client (eg. Oracle 8) - then you need to update them before you install the CRYSTAL REPORTS XI (R2) software.

There's no way around it....

what we found was that even with 9.0.2, the drivers wouldn't show if a user/pc had an old version of the client as well.
had to uninstall all oracle client stuff, reinstall 9.0.2 and then CR XI shows the oracle drivers.

Sorry - I should have been clearer...you don't need to "update" the Oracle 8 drivers - you needed to remove and replace them.
