Hello,

I'm trying to create a new report in Crystal Reports 8.0 using only Stored Procedures. I checked off the Stored Procedures box in data explorer. While accessing stored procedures through ODBC,with administrative rights, the application crashes with a crw32.exe error.

Is there a fix to this?
Am I doing something wrong?
I've tried Crystal's monthly hot fixes with no luck

All responses would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thank You

What is the database? What type of data are you trying to bring over?

I have noticed this when ever I try to use ODBC and Oracle with the timestamp datatype.

Step backwards and make it as simple as possible. One table, one column.. preferably text. Does it happen then? If not, start adding things in one at a time until you can recreate the problem.

Often the answer may be to switch to a native connection if possible.
