after I close the dialog box with the message above, I get a page fault error with MFC42.dll. Crystal then closes.
I have already extracted a fresh MFC42.dll from the Win98 .CAB files, and copied it to the \system folder using DOS.

Any ideas?

Hello

What is the exact version of the crystal reports that you are using. Find this out by clicking on Help | About and then tell me what the number is beside product starting with crw32. I might have a solution for you, depending on the version number that you have.

I look forward to your response.

Thank you for your help. My version is CR8. It came bundled with our accounting software, MAS90.
details: Product 8.0.1.0 created 4/4/00
CRW32 8.0.0.371

everyone - I discovered that I was able to avoid the crash by changing the printer driver to *generic/text only*. At that point I saved the data with the file and then printed my report with my original printer settings.
