I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5 and VB 6. I'm using the CRViewer to view reports; however, I have disabled the toolbar and all of its buttons. Our users will be using a touch screen, so they wanted the toolbar controls larger. I have a search button on the same form as the viewer that requests the search text, then calls CRViewer.SearchForText(text).
Sometimes the searching will continue from page to page, but other times it will not. When the searching fails, it is only searching the current page. However, when I go to the next page and repeat the search, if the text is there it will find it.
All of the pages of the report are loaded when it is first viewed.
