Crsytal Enterprise Report with Subreport - No Data

Hi,

Using Crystal Enterprise 10.0 + SP4/ Crystal Reports 10.0 + SP4 / Oracle 8i.

I have a sub report within the main report which is working fine when run from CR 10.0. Sub report does show the data when run from CR 10.0

When I move this report to Crystal Enterprise 10.0, my sub report shows blank.

Any ideas, what might be wrong??

Perhaps it's run using a different database account without permission to the same data?

I am using same Oracle database account, both from Designer as well as Crystal Enterprise.

Is the CE server using the same typeof connectivity?

Meaning the EXACT same.

Yes, it is. We are using Oracle Native connections going through TNS entry detail / names.

Could you do a test version? Maybe remove the seletion criteria and instead display them as 'boolians'? (Formula fields which defines a logical condition that may be true or false, and don't have an IF.. THEN).

Narrow down what is going on. Are you not getting the same data? Or is the logic working in some subtly different way?

Thanks for the response Madawc.

I will try to break down the report in parts to see what is happening.

Sub report in the main report does not show any data (It is empty) when moved to Crystal Enterprise server.

I will try your suggestion and try to find out in steps what might be causing this.
