I am new to CR and have a query about reports and subreports.

On my main report I have a formula which gives me a total amount of money. I then want to have a field on my subreport that is linked to the field on the main report.

Or the other option is to be able to refer to fields on the main report from within the subreport formula editor.

You need to use variables to store the value from the main/subreport, and use the store/fetch functions to retrieve the values.
