Hi.

I created a report and use crosstab. The report displays the data as follow :

Total IN MN OH PA
Design 256.50 19.50 187.00 50.00 0.00
Distribution 84.50 17.00 65.50 0..00 2.00
Freestand 50.50 16.00 18.50 14.00 2.00
Non-bill 20.00 10.00 10.00 0.00 0.00
Non-bill(1) 10.00 10.00 0.0 0.0 0.00
Total 421.50 72.50 281.00 64.00 4.00

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I would like to do is get the Non-Bill and NonBill(1), add them together and
print the total for each column and print it (total) after Total. Then Subtract this
Value for each column to Total and print next line the Difference. Any idea on how to do this. I need urgent help. Thanks.

You would need to drop the use of a CrossTab and use a regular report approach.

Assuming the number of columns (states in your case)
is fixed and known in advance, create conditional
calculations using the typical (IF state = PA, Value, 0)
and sum them to produce the results you need.

Ido is correct.

My FAQ on common formulas gives a description of the 'manual cross-tab' technique. Ken Hamady
