How can I setup a field in a crosstab report that displays the count of records from the underlying table?

If you base the crosstab on a table and "yes, include row sums" option as you go through the wizard, you can add a field in the report footer to total that column.
Just copy & paste that field into the report footer and modify it. If the ControlSource property of the one you copy is:
    Sum Of CountOfWhatever
you would modify the one in the report footer to be:
    =sum(Sum Of CountOfWhatever)

For some reason, the "sum" idea does not work. Get an #Error in the text box on the report.....but the idea did remind me of the domain aggregate functions, so I used DCount to do what I needed. Thanks.
