Crosstab Report - field not always reported - error on open 1

I have a Crosstab Report rptMaterials Scrap Report Crosstab based on qryMateials Scrap Report Crosstab which is based on qryMaterials Scrap Report.

In qryMaterials Scrap Report there is criteria on the Disposition of "B2" Or "B5" Or "S1". When I run the report for a date where there is no S1 the report gives an error before opening, The Microsoft Jet Database engine does not recognize 'S1' as a valid field name or expression.

How do I include fields in a Crosstab report that are there sometimes and not there other times?

Hillary:

In the crosstab query, open the properties dialog and specify the column headers. Make sure that they are spelt exactly as the field name values.

In this way, even if no data are present for any of the columns the column will still appear in the result and can be used in the report.
