Hi Lbass,
Thank you very much , right now its showing alternate yellow colors, is there any way I can choose my own color.
Once again thanks

Change the rgb (red, green, blue) values in color(). I believe they can vary between 0 and 255, but I don't know myself what the combos are for particular colors. What color did you want to use?

Hi lbass,
Thanks for your help, When ever I change any number in color, then its coloring all rows, not alternate rows,
I need a crpurle color for alternate rows.

And by any chance can I shade the first filed also.

Once again thanks
Srinivas

You have to change the color in both parts of the formula. Also, what do you mean by the "first field"?

-LB

Thanks Lbass,
I really appreciate your response.
I changed both the places
I need color(73,100,143)
First filed means first column ID.

ID Name
1 Srinivas
Sam
John
2 LBass
Dave
3 Tektips
thanks
