crosstab query

my question is, is it possible to leave the fields blank while making a crosstab query.. cause it doesnt work for me... am i supposed to do it differently???

A crosstab query will only show rows and columns where there is associated data.

For example, if you had year-to-date data in your table by month, except for the month of July, all months would appear summarized on the crosstab query except for July.

Is that what you were asking?

Can you explain what you mean by "leave the fields blank"? What doesn't work? How do you expect us to know what you are doing if you don't tell us?
