Can anyone help with the following,

I have created a cross tab query of products and weeks.
The weeks are dependant on a user selection. This means that I can never be sure of which weeks will be selected. The products are also variable depending what is in production each week.

How can I work this into a report as I seem to require one constant for the report to reference ?.
If I pick weeks the products will vary, if I pick products the weeks will vary and it is not practical to pick both.

Hope someone can help !!!

Well if you are not in a Cross tab query you can pick more than one constraint.
i.e. Weeks and Products.
So try making a new query, leaving your original alone for now.
See if you can get some of the info you need.
Starting with Products or Weeks first than add the other.
There are other ways to get the information without using a Crosstab.
I suppose your final result is some kind of Report?
you can do some powerful things in the report side.
DougP
dposton@universal1.com

A dynamic cross tab query involves a significant amount of work and VBA code. There is a complete example with code in A. Balter's "Mastering Acces 97" on page 440. It's quite lengthy. It worked great for me. There's also an article at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new">This looks similar. It is old so it may need updating.
