Hello,

1- We have this report with a prompt tree section in the header

2- The user will choose a tree pompt value

3- Depending on what he choose, it will need to be passed to a line chart and display the necessary values

Can someone tell me the BIG lines on what are the steps for that please ? Do i need a variable that will then pass or i simply use and pass the parameter to the chart and HOW ?

Thanks !

You associate a parameter (like ?input?) to the prompt and use this as a filter in the query that is associated with the chart. If multiple values can be chosen then you need to write the filter like [some data-item] in [?input]

Obviously the chart query will have to have a correlation with values coming from the prompt-query..
