I have a crosstab with 4 row groupings and one column grouping. The problem is I don't want the highest level grouping to be split across pages. The crosstab has a 'keep columns together' option but nothing for rows and the formatting features in the section expert don't seem to help. Any suggestions?

Where is the crosstab placed? If it is in a group header or footer, go to report->change group expert->options and check "Keep group together." Also make sure "keep together" is checked for the section in format section.

If these don't work, then you could decide to format the section with "New Page Before" so that the crosstab always starts a new page (assuming that it will fit on one page).

If the issue is that the crosstab is simply too big to fit in some cases, you could resize the fields in design mode by selecting all fields and clicking on the A- (A underlined) button to reduce the font size. You can then reduce the grid size by dragging the cell borders.

Thanks for the advice LB but that didn't work. Any other suggestions welcome.
