I have a crosstab with store number as my row and a formula as my detail and date (formatted to show weeks) but when I preview my crosstab, the first week shows on one line and the second week shows to the right but below the first week and so on. So my crosstab looks like this:

week1 week2 week3
123 data
456 data
789 data

the formula for the detail is showing many fields together but not sure if that's my problem or not.

Any help would be appreciated

You need to provide the formula you are using for your summary field.

Are you sure you are not grouping your columns by day rather than week?

Instead of formatting the column name as week, you need to select the coloumn field, and use "Group by" inside the crosstab expert.

I think I may have answered my own question. It was because Crystal was looking at each individual field so naturally it inserted a line for each field.
