Is it possible to suppress a row and its's data in a crosstab based on a parameter? If so, how can this be done please?

I have customer level information but I want to suppress this if "summary" is selected on the parameter.

Thanks a lot!

This depends on your table(s), assuming that you want some data suppressed throughout the report, use the record selection formula based on a parameter:

If {?myparm} = "Summary" then
{table.detaillevel} = "Not Possible"

If you want 2 different looks to the crosstab, or the above doesn't make sense, create 2 crosstabs in different sections (right click any section and select insert section below), and suppress (right click the section->Format Section->X-2 next to suppress) the appropriate section based on the parm.

{?myparm} = "Summary"

Would be used to suppress the detail level crosstab.

{?myparm} <> "Summary"

Would be used to suppress the Summary.
