I am using Crystal 10. I have a crosstab to display my records horizontally. Reason being, I could have 2 types per record or I could have any number of type columns.

It displays the data so far down and then repeats the column headings. I have wrestled with this for WEEKS and can't figure it out. I would great appreciate how to get it to print without the column headers repeatings (sample below). I don't want to use the export to Excel data only function as there is other formatting I want to show on this.

Type 03 Type 04
Current New Current New
111 $62.08 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
222 $963.69 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
333 $936.51 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
444 $911.31 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
555 $105.57 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
666 $612.58 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
Type 03 Type 04 >>> problem
Current New Current New >>> problem
777 $472.44 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
888 $649.59 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
999 $180.69 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
aaa $188.33 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
bbb $116.01 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
ccc $107.92 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00

Where is the crosstab located--in what report section? Do you have two column fields, type and status? Or one column field (type) and two summaries?

It's in my report footer. This seems to happen whether I put it in my footer or header. I have 1 row, 1 column and 2 summaries.

Even though you did not state this, I'm guessing you mean the column headers repeat when exported to Excel. I don't know the solution to that.

I drew attention to that in my example as follows:

Type 03 Type 04 >>> problem
Current New Current New >>> problem

It displays the data so far down and then repeats the column headings.

Part of the confusion here is that you have stated that the report displays the data in such a way, instead of stating that the report EXPORTS the data in such a way. We have to try to guess from your last statment that you might be talking about exporting format problems.

When you are exporting, have you tried changing the 'export page headers and footers' to none, instead of the default once per page?
