Is there a way to count the number of records that are not suppressed in a crosstab? I have a report that is showing the reason a case was delayed. there could be three to four cases in a room, each having a delay reason. I have created a formula to show only the first cases of the day in a room with one delay reason. I have a crosstab that is counting all of the records/delays. I would like for the crosstab to only count the records that are not suppressed;the delay reasons for the first case of the day, not all of the cases

Try a Distinct Count based on Room.

It always helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 2008 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.
