Hi,

I am trying to use Grid Row Column value in a Cross Tab.

The reason I need to do this is to calculate one column as a percentage of two other column in the Cross Tab.

It appears that the Cross Tab is worked out Column by Column, as when I come to use the value stored in a variable for Column One, it is always the value for the last row.

Is there any way that I can use Grid Row Column to work out a percentage on one row for two values in that row by holding the value in variables. I would like it to work on a row by row basis.

Thanks

As far as I know, you cannot use gridrowcolumnvalue in calculations. It is used for formatting. The only place I've seen it used for calculations is in the display string area in CR 9.0+ on the format field->common tab, and there it was used to create a running total that was then converted to text.

What version of CR are you using? What is the specific calculation you are trying to do? Also what are your row, column, and summary fields?
