I have a few complicated reports and wonder how easy it would be to convert them into a cross tab query.

Would I have to create them all from scratch

Hello

what you can do is click on Insert | Crosstab and then you can create your crosstab from here. You would not need to remake the reports this way.

hope this helps. E. McEvoy

If you mean a Cross-Tab Query in the database itself, like an MS Access Query, then yes, you will have to start from scratch.

But you can add cross-tabs to a report without starting from scratch. The Crystal cross-tab expert creates a report that is just a cross-tab. You can duplicate this by creating the Cross-Tab and suppressing everything else in the report. Ken Hamady
