cross tab supression

I am using CR 2016

I have 3 levels in a cross tab. The user may want to suppress the data and the headings for the lowest level. How can I do this via a parameter when I run the report - something Ive never done on cross tabs before!

The simplest way would be to set up two separate crosstab in different sections and then conditionally suppress the section based on a parameter.
