Hi,

I have built a cross-tab to count records with a specific criteria (running on Oracle database) - my cross tab consists of 2 fields:

For ROWS I have Field1 which is a selection field and has preset values (A1, B1, C1).
For COLUMNS I have Field2 which is a free entry text field and can have a variation of values, spaces and upper/lower case letters (a11, A11, aB11, etc)
For SUMMARIZED FIELDS I am counting my record IDs to show the number of the records based on the above criteria.

The report output looks like this:

.......a11 A11 aB11 CC11
A1___2___0___0____0
B1___0___2___0____5
C1___0___0___0____5

My issue is that I know for a fact that I only have 1 "a11" value but no matter what I do, it still displays 2 as the count for Field1 and Field2 matching values. I don't know if the issue is that Crystal is seeing Field2 values "a11" and "A11" as individual rows because of the upper/lower case difference, but calculates column counts somehow as a group? Some rows/column counts are correct, and some are way off. Let me know if this makes sense or do I need to provide additional info. Thanks!

Please help!
