Hello I am new to InDesign and was wondering if someone could help me with a problem.

I often wish to place a dynamic cross reference within the text of a book.

For exapmle:

See section 5 ####### on page # for futher information.

I set it so both the Section title and page number are updatable as more content is added to the document.

How do I do this in InDesign?

I can only see how to insert a cross reference in the index but not in the text itself. I usually link my cross reference to heading styles and may pick up both the heading and the page number depending on the nature of the book I am working on.
