Anyone know a way to get a cross reference listing of where a field, definition or formula is used in CR, both in main program and subreports? Either as a separate add-on tool from some software company or something already in CR.

A newbie, I almost always use CR Wizardry instead of SQL.

Aside: Somewhere between my main report and subreport, a shared field is not correct. It is being used in both places and in multiple formulas in both places.
I thought maybe I accidentally have GLOBAL somewhere instead of SHARED.

THANKS SO MUCH !!!

Hi,
Export the report in 'Report Definition' format.

THANKS, Turkbear!

I bet that is just what I need.

Unfortunately, it gave an error message for needed dll's and "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the
CR-X1 disk and Click OK"

I will speak to our software vendor tomorrow.

THANKS AGAIN !

Hi,
It is not a default export format and needs to be specified when installing - it can be added by running the setup program again and adding it to the installed components.

THANKS again. I have saved this post and will email to our vendor.

Have a good night !
