Hi,
I am in research mode for a project that is basically a cross platform ISAPI filter for IIS and Apache (sorry, not sure of the terminology for Apache).
I was wondering if Python would be the ideal language to write such a filter in? I basically want to be able to write the code once and then compile it on each web server and have it run - a tall order I know but it must be possible!
I was looking into C++ but there are loads of library dependencies and specifics for each platform I thought it may be easier to develop in Python.
Bear in mind I'm a newbie to Python (picked a good project, huh?) and I apologise if this is the wrong place to post etc etc.
Cheers,
Dan Alexander.
