this implementation of this script works beautifuly in
Mac IE5.5
Mac NN6
Win NN6 (and Moz1.1)

it does not work in
Win IE6 (and I think 5 as well)
tested on ME, 2000 and XP

...and I don't know why.

Anyone know off the top o' their head?

I'm starting to suspect the image map, but since I only own my one Mac I can't easily test my theories. I have been using the "Hey dude, can you look at this URL for me and tell me if it breaks?" method of platform testing.

Here is a simple version of the implementation ( I have no idea if it works in Win IE maybe one of you can tell me [SMILE] ).

the top image should change both images when rolled over and the bottom image should just change itself.

thanks for the help,

jaxon

So it seems that the problem does indeed have to do with the image map. The top link (see above) does not work, but the bottom (simple) link with the same code and no image map does work.

Anyone have any ideas why? Educated guesses? Half-brained theories?

Perhaps someone throw out suggestions for a possible work-around.

thanks,

jaxon
