cross-platform compatibility

I Have created a site in Dreamweaver 4, using embedded swf files and hotspot image maps for links. The site works perfect on Macintosh but on PCs the links do not work. Is there an option to set the site at so as to make it compatible ???

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
