Cross Platform & Browser Video Embed - Code Gen?

Hi to all
I'd like to put on my JSP project a web page where the user can view all kind of file on the server: images, video, sound etc.

i look into this forum and i can't find a versatile solution... i think there's no static code but maybe it's possible to make a code generator in java or javascript that given the file type, the browser and operating system output the right code...

Someone knows how to handle this? someone had wrote something similar?

Using JSP, you could certainly make a file browser. You'd have to ask in the JSP or Java forums for help on how to do this.
